I wrote an essay comparing HP and the book serie A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin about how the two books use characters in the role of the "Mother", their motivation to protect their children, and especially how they contrast such characters belonging to different moral sides of the story.

Before focusing on Phlegm, maybe we can have a little summary of Chapter 5.

-          This is the first time we find out Tonks is depressed and having difficulties with her talents.

-          Arthur is promoted, and Molly is very pleased about it.

-     Molly is also pleased with the Twins.

This was originally going to be a response to socaptivated‘s “A Weasley’s Affair” essay, but, it got so long that I figured it was an essay in its own right. I’m not completely bashing the other essay, but I am analyzing the family from a different, more positive, point of view.
So, here it is, as counterpoint to A Weasley’s Affair: ( A Normal Affair )
